REQUIREMENTS VALIDATION

As stated earlier, a key assumption is that requirements have been established, confirmed, validated, documented and approved by the appropriate delegate within the Requirements Management process. The Requirements Validation referred to in the Planning sub-process is that of understanding and accepting the requirements and translating them into the correct format for the Procurement Event. A Procurement Manager is putting himself / herself at risk if they accept a brief from Requirements Management process which is ill-defined or can’t realistically be delivered.
