RECEIVE BIDS

All bids must be received, in full, at the nominated location by the nominated time and date. It is preferable that all separate artefacts making up a response, be logged in the Registration and Bid Response Receipt Register and a photographic record of same should be printed and attached. A written Response Receipt Acknowledgement should be provided to all candidates to acknowledge the timely, or otherwise, receipt of their response.

Responses should not be studied at this time but instead should be directed to a very secure location (under lock and key) in readiness for the formal evaluation by the Evaluation Teams which should begin as soon as possible after the RFx closing time and date.

The only exception to the above is the testing of USB keys drives, CDs, DVDs or other electronic documentation supplied as part of the response to ensure it can be opened and read without corruption prior to the commencement of the evaluation.
