PREPARATION OF DOCUMENTATION

Two of the biggest differences between an experienced Procurement Manager and one that is relatively new to the scene is firstly, the quantity and quality of documentation he or she has at his or her disposal and secondly, and arguably more important, is having a clear understanding of the order in which each needs to be prepared. It is not always intuitive. It is almost always important.

There is a great deal of documentation required throughout all but the simplest Procurement Events. Even though the templates available from BUSDOX will almost certainly need to be tailored to meet individual requirements, formats, terminology, logos and styles, there is no better time-saver than to have a tried and proven template on hand to kick-start the development of the myriad artefacts.
